[This episode happens after "Chuck Vs. The First Date"]

[This scene opens with Awesome watching a Los Angeles Kings games on T.V. when Chuck comes walking into the room.]

Chuck: I never knew you were a hockey fan.
Awesome: There is a lot you don’t know about me.
Chuck: I guess. Have you never played before.
Awesome: I played when I was just a little man. I was not awesome so I gave it up.
Chuck: You quit just because you not good.
Awesome: I guess you could say that. I was awesome at the game but I just could not skate.
Chuck: I finally found something you are not awesome at. That is so how should I say it? Awesome.
Awesome: Come on, bro, don’t be that way.
Chuck: Who are the Kings playing tonight?
Awesome: They are playing the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Kings are not awesome.
Chuck: I can see that, 6-2 with only 5 minutes left in the 3rd period. Wow, they suck.
[Then you hear the announcer in the background. The Leaf’s Darcy Tucker just took a run at King’s star Anze Kopitar. Kopitar is not moving much. Lets hope he is ok.]
Awesome: That was Awesome!!
Chuck: What are you talking about? He could be hurt.
Awesome: That is just hockey. It’s a man game. If you can’t take it you need to get out.
[Cuts back to the announcer. You see Aleksandr Maltsev coming on the ice now. He is Kopitar own personal trainer.]
[Chucks has a flash on Aleksandr Maltsev. A hockey stick, a bronze medal, dozens of bodies, the Soviet Union flag and the word Red Banner.]
Awesome: What the matter Chuck? It was not that bad of a hit.
Chuck: [freaking out] I’m fine but I think I going to go see what Casey is up to. By the looks of it this game is over.
Awesome: You are going to miss an awesome come back.
Chuck: There will not be a come back with Kopitar out. So I am going to leave. [he walks out the door]

[The scene starts with Chuck knocking on Casey’s door and Casey walking over to the door.]

Casey: [he opens the door] What do you want Bartowski?
Chuck: I just had a flash.
Casey: On what?
Chuck: Awesome and I was watching the Kings games when I flashed on a guy named Aleksandr Maltsev.
Casey: I never knew you were a hockey fan. I didn’t think you were man enough. [laughs]
Chuck: What ever you say sugar bear. [smiles]
Casey: [grabs Chuck by the shirt and picks him up] What did I tell you about calling me that.
Chuck: [trying to talk but he is having a hard time getting words out] Not to.
Casey: [puts Chuck down] So who is Aleksandr Maltsev?
Chuck: I think he is so kind of Russian hit man posing as a hockey trainer.
Casey: Ok, I will get General Beckman and Director Graham while you go call your girlfriend. Got it Bartowski?
Chuck: [still trying to catch his breath] Will do big man.

[The scene ends with Chuck calling Sarah and telling her to get over to Casey’s ASAP.]

[The scene begins Team Chuck standing in front of Casey’s TV talking to General Beckman and Director Graham about Chuck’s flash.]

General Beckman: Aleksandr Maltsev was once a great hockey player for the Soviet Union. He played on the Soviet Olympic team from 1972 till 1980 winning two gold medals and a bronze medal. He lead all Soviet players in goal during that time. But after losing to the US in 1980 he felt like he let down his country so he quit hockey and joined the Soviet secret service.
Director Graham: The Soviets made him a leader to a group called 80bronze.
Chuck: [interrupting Director Graham] That is fitting.
Casey: [looks at Chuck] Shut up Bartowski. [turns back to the Director] Continue.
Director Graham: Thanks you Major Casey. As I was saying once Maltsev became the leader of the 80bronze the number of deaths went up until the fall of the Soviet Union in 1990. After the Soviet Union was no more we never saw Aleksandr Maltsev again till now.
Sarah: What are our orders?
General Beckman: Try to find any and all information on him that you can.
Casey: How should we do that, General?
Director Graham: Already taken care of. The Kings are having a game tomorrow night and we got you 3 tickets and a tour of the locker room.
General Beckman: Chuck will go as a big hockey fan knowing all there is to know about the sport and the Kings.
Chuck: But I don’t know anything about hockey.
Casey: [grunts] You better learn by tomorrow.
Sarah: [looks at Casey and then at Beckman and Graham] He will know every thing there is to know by tomorrow.
Director Graham: He better.
General Beckman: You got your orders.
[the TV turns off]
Chuck: I guess I will be up all night.
Casey: [grunts] I am sure Agent Walker would love to help you study.
Sarah: [with not too egger of a look on her face] Sure.
Chuck: Great. [smiles at Sarah] I guess I will be going now. Sarah fell free to come over when ever. [he walks out the door]
Sarah: Do you know anything about hockey, Casey?
Casey: Very little.
Sarah: [smiles] I guess you need to study up, too.
Casey: [grunts] I guess but don’t Bartowski. I want to be alone tonight.
Sarah: [gives Casey a look] What do you have a hot date or something?
Casey: No, I just don’t want to be around him tonight. [he walks Sarah to the door] And for that matter anyone. [shuts the door on Sarah]
Sarah: Good bye to you too.

[The scene ends with Sarah walking over to Chuck’s apartment where she is support to help Chuck study tonight.]

[The scene opening with Sarah quizzing Chuck on all kinds of hockey question.]

Sarah: Who is the NHL all time leading scorer?
Chuck: Wayne Gretzky.
Sarah: How many points did he have?
Chuck: I have no idea.
Sarah: 2857. What teams did he play for?
Chuck: The Rangers, the Blues and the Oilers.
Sarah: You are missing one.
Chuck: I am? Who?
Sarah: The Kings. He lead them to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1993.
Chuck: I don’t care anymore. We have been at this for hours now.
Sarah: You still don’t know enough. Who is the captain of the Kings?
Chuck: Rob Blake? [sounding unsure]
Sarah: You are right. Have Blake been on the Kings his whole career?
Chuck: No, he played 4 and a half seasons with the Colorado Avalanche where he won his only Stanley Cup.
Sarah: Very good. Now name four other Kings players.
Chuck: Let me think. Ok, Anze Kopitar, Jason LaBarbera, Alexander Frolov and .. [Chuck can’t think of the last name]
Sarah: Come on, just one more. I know you know this.
Chuck: Let me think. Dustin Brown?
Sarah: Good job. If you answer this question we will be done for the night.
Chuck: Can you make it an easy one then. [smiles at her]
Sarah: Sorry but this one will be hard. Name two other captain of the Kings.
Chuck: I know one is Luc Robitaille but I am not sure on the other one. Can I have a clue?
Sarah: Ok, I will give you a clue. He was the captain from 2001 till 2007, he took over when Blake left.
Chuck: Is it Mattias Norstrom?
Sarah: Sure is.
Chuck: [jumps up to his feet] Thank God.
Sarah: So this is not turning into a hockey fan?
Chuck: [laughs] No. I just happy its done with.
Sarah: I think you are ready for the big day. [give Chuck a pat on the shoulder] I think I will be heading home now.
Chuck: Sarah, if you want you can just stay here.
Sarah: But I didn’t bring anything to sleep in.
Chuck: hIts too late for you to be driving home and I will give you one of my shirts to sleep in.
Sarah: I just don’t know if it would be that good of an idea.
Chuck: [he bumps Sarah] It would be good for the cover.
Sarah: [with a smile on her face] Ok, if it will help our cover. [bumps Chuck back and she has a smile on her face]
Chuck: Great. I will go find something for you to wear.

[The scene ends with Chuck looking for something that Sarah could sleep in and Sarah has a smile on her face knowing she will be spending the whole night with Chuck.]

[The scene starts with Chuck, Sarah and Casey at the Staples Center watching the Kings who are playing the Colorado Avalanche. The game is in the 3rd period and the Kings are losing 4-2]

Casey: Ready Chuck? This is all on you.
Chuck: As ready as I never well be and thanks Casey.
Sarah: You will do just fine. [smiles at Chuck] Just remember what you learned last night and you will be fine.
Chuck: I hope so. [looks at the scoreboard] I just hope he is not in a bad mood because of the game.
Casey: I am sure he is used to losing by now.
Chuck: Should we get going?
Sarah: There is no rush. The game still have 5 minutes left and our tour don’t start till after the game anyway.
Chuck: Ok, sounds good to me and maybe they can make a come back.
Casey: [grunts] Don’t see that happening.

[The scene ends with Chuck and Casey watching the game closely. Then you see Sarah watching Chuck who is still watching the game and she has a smile on her face.]

[The scene starts with Chuck, Casey and Sarah being given a tour of the King’s locker room when Chuck sees Aleksandr Maltsev.]

Chuck: [looks over at Casey] That’s him.
Tour Guide: Who are you talking about, sir?
Chuck: [not knowing what to say] Is that man over their Aleksandr Maltsev?
Tour Guide: Sure is. You got a good eye. Maltsev is Kopitar’s trainer. Would you like to met him?
Chuck: [playing along] Could we?
Tour Guide: You sure can. Let me go and get him.
Casey: Nice work Bartowski.
Chuck: Is that a real nice work or are you making fun of me again.
Casey: [grunts at the question] I mean it, now we well be able to talk with him.
[The tour guide comes walking back over to him but he has Maltsev with him.
Tour Guide: [looks at Chuck] Chuck, this is Aleksandr Maltsev. [looks at Maltsev] This is Chuck a big fan of yours. I will leave you guys alone so you can talk. Just let me know if you need any thing.
Chuck: [shakes Maltsev hand] I can’t believe I am talking to a legend.
Aleksandr Maltsev: I am all ways happy to talk with a fan.
[Casey bumps Chuck so he will introduce Sarah and himself]
Chuck: I am so soory, I forgot. [points to Casey] This is my good friend John Casey. [shows Casey shaking Maltsev’s hand] And this lovely young lady is my girlfriend, Sarah.
Sarah: Its so nice to met you Mr. Maltsev. Chuck have told me so much about you.
Aleksandr Maltsev: I love talking to any fans but most of the time they are not my fans but fans of Anze.
Casey: So how did you and Anze meet?
Aleksandr Maltsev: I was a scout and I went to watch a game in Slovakia during the fall of 1999. Anze was only 12 at the time but from the first time I saw him I knew he was going to be a star, so after the game I went up to and his parents and asked them if I could take him out my wing.
Chuck: Have you trained him never since?
Aleksandr Maltsev: Sure have been. Meeting Anze changed my life in so many ways because after the 1980 Olympic my life was never the same.
Chuck: What happened to you? It was like you dropped off the face of the Earth.
Aleksandr Maltsev: Well I went to work with government and when the Soviet Union fell it was no longer safe how me there so I had to move.
Sarah: I am so sorry to hear about that but at least you got back into hockey.
Aleksandr Maltsev: I am so happy that I did. [his phone rings] I am so sorry, I need to take this call. Wait here and I will be right back. [walks away]
Sarah: Casey, are you tracking the number?
Casey: I am all over it, Walker.
Sarah: Just making sure.
Chuck: What should our next step of action be?
Casey: See if he will meet us outside of the arena.
Chuck: How are you going to do that?

Chuck: Thank you for taking the time and talking to us.
Aleksandr Maltsev: Any time. [starts to walk away]
Casey: Funny that you would say that. We would love to meet you for lunch sometime so we can hear more about your playing career.
Aleksandr Maltsev: I would love to talk to you guys more. Lets trade phone numbers so we can set something up. [writes his phone number down] The Kings has the next 6 days off so I bet we can have lunch one day this week.
Chuck: That would be so cool. [he hands Maltsey his phone number] We will be giving you call and thanks again for talking with us.
Aleksandr Maltsev: Its my honor. [he walks away and as he does his phone rings]
